Introduction

UK Photos web: An online photograph gallery with photography hints and tips pages, images are primarily of landscape and historic buildings, from around the United kingdom. Photographic locations included are mainly from Scotland, and some locations of England, including Loch Lomond the Pentland hills, the Northumberland hills, coastal seascapes, a variety of lochs and waterfalls also a selection of desktop wallpapers are available.
In addition to this there is also a small selection of macro photography including plants, insects and land formations.

I am a semi-professional photographer based in Scotland, my aim is to be able to publish samples of my photographs to look as professional as possible with the resources that I have, for people to see and hopefully appreciate. Maybe you have seen a location that you visited, a place that you would like to visit or holiday snap that you missed.

Free images are available for charities and students to help promote their fundraising/coursework providing that my copyright and publication conditions are complied with.

I am limited only by time, available equipment and technology. However I endeavour to make all the photographs the best quality that I can with the equipment that I have. And to make the site as user friendly as possible, however photographic web sites are inherently slow due to the size of files that are used. Please be patient when viewing images.

The photographs on this website are more to do with places of interest rather than artistic and technical correctness, I have two other websites that are for the artistic and technical side of my work.
